Job Title: Digital Analyst

Reports to: Data Analytics and Customer Insight Lead

The role:

An expert in web analytics tools you will be able to combine this understanding with data from a variety of internal and external data sources to identify opportunities and make recommendations to grow multichannel trade and drive the future development of our digital platforms.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Accountable for providing business recommendations based on rich, multi-source insights into customer behaviour through analysis of online customer behaviours, journeys and pain points.
  • Accountable for using data sources to spot trends and anomalies. Deep dive into areas of concern and use this insight to drive business strategy and optimisation onsite.
  • Responsible for partnering with the digital development team to help prioritise the digital roadmap from definition through to success measurement.
  • Responsible for identifying and sharing the online customer KPIs
  • Accountable for managing the training of new online analytics tools throughout the wider business to ensure their use is embedded into daily practice.
  • Accountable for partnering with our offshore partners Capita to deliver the digital insights required
  • Accountable for developing and enhancing regular reporting capabilities (as required) through the creation, maintenance and automation of dashboards to empower all business teams / partners to self-service their online analytics needs

Skills, know-how and experience:

Must have:

  • Highly experienced with Adobe analytics
  • Strong experience of deriving actionable insights from large and complex data sets
  • Experience of advanced data manipulation using Excel and similar tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify patterns, and generate new approaches to reporting and analytics
  • Experience with data visualisation and storytelling for dashboards and reports 
  • Commercial mindset with experience of influencing stakeholders in decision-making
  • Experience of direct management of third parties or multi-locational teams
