Role Purpose

A hands-on, sales support role which role models a comprehensive administration support service to the store in the areas of cash handling, HR, procurement and store P&L accounts, ensures internal controls are adhered to, and consistently delivers excellent customer experiences while achieving personal targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approaches every customer, both internal and external, consistently providing a VIP customer experience in relation to all interactions and queries.
  • Provides a comprehensive and reliable administration service to the sales teams, investigating cash handling, procurement or P&L discrepancies in a timely manner to maximise the profitability of the store.
  • Maintains an accurate and confidential HR and payroll administration service to the store, safeguarding both personal and electronic file information for all staff.
  • Implements One Best Way procedures and practices efficiently and to guidelines.
  • Supports multi-channel activities both back of house and on the shop floor, delivering an efficient collection point service when required.
  • Works effectively with all HOF team members and Brand Partners to achieve service excellence.
  • Takes the opportunity to introduce customers to all multi-channel services, and is confident in selling the features and benefits of multi-channel services to support store target achievement.
  • Resolves complaints or queries effectively face to face or on the telephone to nurture the customer relationship and maintain loyalty.
  • Supports and coaches the administration/HR team to fulfil all tasks efficiently and to audit guidelines.
  • Demonstrates competent use and maintenance of POS systems, equipment and processes to enhance the customer experience to Company guidelines.
  • Maintains high standards of personal presentation including wearing a name badge.
  • Supports the needs of the Sales Support Manager/Team Leader and deputises in their absence, including organising the department and rota planning to meet department and store requirements.

Skills and Experiences required:

  • Relevant administration experience, ideally within a Retail environment, with a consistent career path.
  • Proven track record of delivering targets to timescale, and supporting a team to meet targets/follow procedures.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, consistently delivering excellent customer experiences.
