JOB TITLE: Website Merchandising Assistant

REPORTING TO: Online Assistant Category Manager

ROLE PURPOSE: Support the Online Category team in driving sales, online merchandising, workflow management and improving speed to market of new product.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring products have the required data and imagery to launch on time and working to resolve any issues as quickly as possible to optimise sales on site.
  • Prioritise the workflow of new product setup to the Capita team.
  • Produce daily and weekly reports for the Online Category teams on progress of on-boarding products online alongside the Capita team.
  • Prioritise workflow in reaction to communications of upcoming trading and product promotions both internally and with Capita.
  • Support Online Category teams in delivering seasonal promotion and price amendments across the website, in line with company trading calendar.
  • Support the delivery of online stock targets, by ensuring sale and return stock, discontinued stock, and transfers and recalls are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
  • Identifying and reporting to Onsite Merchandising teams opportunities to optimise site and customer journey during daily site walks prioritising workflow for Capita and calling out key successes and issues.
  • Support the Online Category teams in communicating all new product launches to the Marketing team in advance of stock arriving.

  • Support in the Production of insight information for both internal and external discussions.

OTHER DUTIES

  • Participate in projects or carry out any other duties that may be outside the standard remit that will benefit the company.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, preferably within a business/numeric related subject
  • Comfortable processing large volumes of data using excel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and organise your workload
