Job Title:  WMS System Integration Test Lead

Reporting to: Test Manager

Role Purpose: Understanding and reviewing test requirements, creating and reviewing test cases, executing tests and taking part in retrospectives. Working with Test Analyst colleagues, Product Owners, Developers and other stakeholders to create and execute tests.




  • Involved in the System Integration Test phase of the Warehouse Management System Upgrade Project
  • Understand and analyse Business, Functional, Technical & UI requirements Writing and executing test scripts based on a variety of source materials (Requirements, HLD, LLD, Use Cases, Business Processes)
  • Raising defects and tracking defects to resolution
  • Maintain documents for the WMS Upgrade Project
  • Support the business users during UAT where applicable
  • Ensure all testing deliverables & reports are version controlled and accessible for the testing team and other users
  • Build relationships with internal HoF teams & 3rd party suppliers




  • 7 years testing experience including System Integration Testing and UAT
  • Retail / Logistics Experience
  • ISEB / ISTQB Foundation Certification in Software Testing (minimum)
  • Strong Planning and Team Leading Experience
  • Ability to Coordinate internal and external teams
  • Experience of Warehouse Management Systems (preferably DAI Matflo)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of testing processes and methodologies
  • An ability to build & maintain relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of Defect Management Tools such as HP QC / ALM or Inflectra Spirateam
  • Understanding of XML
  • Experience of API Testing (preferably Mulesoft)
